Art Marathon Goal
I will be displaying and sharing about pieces I have created over the last 10 years.
I will be presenting a potpourri of several different mediums, the Hawaiian art of “popo lei hulu," an assortment of pen and watercolor drawings, and periodic pictorial updates of the Laysan Albatross chick that hatched in our back yard, and possibly some painting.
We create a variety of stained glass pieces. We will share with you works in progress, as well as completed work.
This is my third year participating in the Arts Marathon. I'm calling it my church rummage sale, a jumble of different creative projects and mediums.
I'll be doing a series of watercolor and ink paintings called "Make it make sense: finding our way through chaos."
As I am currently traveling through New Zealand, this will be a reprise of the photos and stories shared here in 2025.
I will be presenting photography that includes the Indigenous people of Mexico and landscapes from there with other locations providing a story for each photo.
I will make a series of cards featuring animals.
I will be creating some strange sculptures, talking about my creative process, and perhaps sharing some harebrained ideas for the Arts Marathon. The month may even end in a giveaway for one of my sponsors! Join me in giving to this great cause.
I will be creating collage art every day.
I will work on a series of paintings related to a story I am working on.
I will post frequent updates on construction and painting of a large autonomous stained glass panel.
I will post ink drawings, primarily Vermont landscapes, portraits, and a few political cartoons!
It's not historic but I've built a King of the Mississippi which is a steam rear paddle boat
I will create a series of graphite and charcoal drawings. These drawing typically sell for $200-$300. I would love to find the best way to sell them and donate all of the proceeds to the program.
I will share some recent animation projects and the process behind them.
I will be working towards the production of several large drawings.
I'll be assembling my first photo book - choosing the work, designing the book, and printing with blurb!
I will share weekly creative expressions inspired by my MUSE: Cause & Affect...

My art will be what makes me happy, angry, sad, delighted. Sometimes I do art "after" a particular artist, like Picasso.
During the artist marathon, I will be working on various multimedia projects. My main medium will be sculpture, but I also like to incorporate needle felting and painting into my work. I will carry you through my process of how I create an armature from initial sketches, all the way through to a finished piece. I’ll also be sharing some behind the scenes looks at previously completed work.

I will be knitting 3 or 4 projects that use beading as a artistic component to the pieces.
I will write weekly poems.
For the marathon, I am creating pieces with step by step directions.
During this Artist Marathon I’ll be heavy loaded with client work, which is usually fun digital artwork and design that I love to share. I also will be adding to my Angel and Demons painting series as well as creating artwork for my Mommy Salami persona.
I hope to complete a different knitted hat each week of the marathon.
I will be sharing my progress with current paintings, interspersed with stories and pictures about past paintings. I will be working at least on some miniatures 6" x 6" or 8" x 8", and a still life 11" x 14". There are bound to be some surprises as well!!
We will draw stuff and write stuff and it's gonna be very good :DDD
