2026 Artist: Kelsey Green
As Arts Marathon artists we will send a different example of our creative process and work to everyone who sponsors us, 3-5 days per week during April. We invite our friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who cares about art and wants to support Bridge to Rutland’s important work to sponsor us. Together we will help welcome new Americans who, in turn, will add immeasurably to our communities.
Kelsey‘s Arts Marathon Goal
I will share some recent animation projects and the process behind them.Kelsey‘s Background

I have been creating art almost all my life, and while it's just a hobby it’s one I love. I’m always striving to learn and grow my skills so recently I’ve started learning animation through an online class and I’m excited by the life this can bring to my art. I’ve also started doing silk shading embroidery (sometimes known as “thread painting”) based on photographs I’ve taken. It’s been fun having both a digital/modern and traditional mode of art-making. I'm inspired by places I've traveled, nature, and whimsy, and I hope to create art that reflects that. This is my second time participating in the Arts Marathon and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone creates!
