2026 Artist: Daniela Stewart
As Arts Marathon artists we will send a different example of our creative process and work to everyone who sponsors us, 3-5 days per week during April. We invite our friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who cares about art and wants to support Bridge to Rutland’s important work to sponsor us. Together we will help welcome new Americans who, in turn, will add immeasurably to our communities.
Daniela‘s Arts Marathon Goal
As I am currently traveling through New Zealand, this will be a reprise of the photos and stories shared here in 2025.Daniela‘s Background

I will be offering my sponsors a unique glimpse into a 2 month journey through Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Beyond the images themselves, I hope to transport my audience into the landscapes, streets, and lives I encountered, telling the stories behind each shot. From the serene beauty of ancient temples to the vibrant energy of bustling markets, I aim to offer a deeper connection to the people and places I photographed.
My passion for photography began during my childhood in Germany and Europe, and over the years, I’ve taken well over 100,000 photos—capturing people, landscapes, animals, and moments, both ordinary and extraordinary. I have been fortunate to travel extensively across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, immersing myself in diverse cultures and capturing the essence of people and places through my lens.
I’ve dabbled in most genres of photography as I strive to capture the beauty and spirit of the world. My greatest passion lies in landscapes, florals, macro, and travel photography. As a volunteer supporting a variety of humanitarian causes, including work with asylum seekers at the AZ/Mexico border, I am honored to have been invited again to contribute my work to such a meaningful cause. I love it when my work sparks conversations, creating images that make people pause, reflect, and feel. Every story matters, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share mine while supporting others on their journey.
