2026 Artist: Syd Veverka

As Arts Marathon artists we will send a different example of our creative process and work to everyone who sponsors us, 3-5 days per week during April. We invite our friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who cares about art and wants to support Bridge to Rutland’s important work to sponsor us. Together we will help welcome new Americans who, in turn, will add immeasurably to our communities.

Syd‘s Arts Marathon Goal

During this Artist Marathon I’ll be heavy loaded with client work, which is usually fun digital artwork and design that I love to share. I also will be adding to my Angel and Demons painting series as well as creating artwork for my Mommy Salami persona.

Syd‘s Background

Syd Veverka has always been an artist, and had those talents fostered in art schools until finishing their degree in Illustration from SCAD. After school, Syd began freelancing in Chicago and found a lot of traction making art and painting murals for small businesses. They moved to Detroit during the pandemic and now Syd is mostly doing digital client artwork and graphic design while using a studio for all their personal art.
