2026 Artist: Carol Tashie and Dennis Duhaime

As Arts Marathon artists we will send a different example of our creative process and work to everyone who sponsors us, 3-5 days per week during April. We invite our friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who cares about art and wants to support Bridge to Rutland’s important work to sponsor us. Together we will help welcome new Americans who, in turn, will add immeasurably to our communities.

We create a variety of stained glass pieces. We will share with you works in progress, as well as completed work.

Carol Tashie and‘s Background

After retiring from the farm (Radical Roots Farm), we found ourselves with more time to explore our creative side. Carol took a stained glass class at CCV and came home and taught Dennis what she learned. Of course, the student (Dennis) surpassed the teacher (Carol) and Dennis is now the designer of our most interesting creations. We call ourselves Radical Roots Glass Works (!) and have started showing our work at craft fairs around the area. We are proud of the skills we are developing and of the pieces we have been able to create. Participating in the Arts Marathon is our honor. For years, we have participated as donors, getting a glimpse into the work of so many talented artists. Now it's our turn to show our work and hopefully raise funds to support the families that Bridge to Rutland serves and protects.
