2025 Artist: Kathleen Speranza

As Arts Marathon artists we will send a different example of our creative process and work to everyone who sponsors us, five days per week during April. We invite our friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who cares about art and wants to support Bridge to Rutland’s important work to sponsor us. Together we will help welcome new Americans who, in turn, will add immeasurably to our communities.

Kathleen‘s Background

I was invited to the Marathon by Tom Capuano who is working with your organization. I am a painter and educator and have been practicing for 40 + years. We moved to Vermont in 2024 and am thrilled to be here. We are in the process of turning our 1850’s barn in West Pawlet into a studio and classroom. We will be called “Rush Hollow Studio”and will be a destination for painting workshops.
