2025 Artist: Carl Buffum

As Arts Marathon artists we will send a different example of our creative process and work to everyone who sponsors us, five days per week during April. We invite our friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who cares about art and wants to support Bridge to Rutland’s important work to sponsor us. Together we will help welcome new Americans who, in turn, will add immeasurably to our communities.

Carl‘s Arts Marathon Goal

I'll send photos of a wide variety of my work in stoneware, porcelain, terra cotta and raku pottery made over 50 years, along with descriptions of process and context of traditional forms.

Carl‘s Background

Last year my wife and I each participated in Arts Marathon: Ann with watercolor paintings and I with pottery. We are committed supporters of the refugee families trying hard and succeeding to become contributing members of our community.
