2025 Artist: Sabra Shulman

As Arts Marathon artists we will send a different example of our creative process and work to everyone who sponsors us, five days per week during April. We invite our friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who cares about art and wants to support Bridge to Rutland’s important work to sponsor us. Together we will help welcome new Americans who, in turn, will add immeasurably to our communities.

Sabra‘s Arts Marathon Goal

I will create 4 or more knitted projects that incorporate unusual or new to me techniques.

Sabra‘s Background

I love to learn how colors and patterns play with each other...what works, what doesn't and why. Eventually, I would like to try free-range "swing" knitting which creates wearable art. At this point I make more than I can wear and therefore take pleasure in being able to use my craft to raise funds for others. The Arts Marathon is a unique way to share my projects with non-knitters and benefit people who were not born into a life as fortunate as mine.
