2025 Artist: Lois Johnstone

As Arts Marathon artists we will send a different example of our creative process and work to everyone who sponsors us, five days per week during April. We invite our friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who cares about art and wants to support Bridge to Rutland’s important work to sponsor us. Together we will help welcome new Americans who, in turn, will add immeasurably to our communities.

Lois‘s Arts Marathon Goal

Kathy Detko and I will show some of our braiding projects, and those in progress from our library workshop participants. We will also share a dye free marbleizing technique which is fun, and share some braiding projects in progress from our mid-winter library workshops.

We appreciate the rich tradition of this functional folk art and love participating in this creative fundraising effort to support asylum seeking families in the Rutland area.
