2025 Artist: Gregory Ellis

As Arts Marathon artists we will send a different example of our creative process and work to everyone who sponsors us, five days per week during April. We invite our friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who cares about art and wants to support Bridge to Rutland’s important work to sponsor us. Together we will help welcome new Americans who, in turn, will add immeasurably to our communities.

Gregory‘s Arts Marathon Goal

I will offer daily photos of the building of a model of the USS Philadelphia, the first naval battle ship of the US Navy built in Whitehall NY.

Gregory‘s Background

I have built many historic wooden ships and have chronicled the builds for Bridge to Rutland since the beginning of the Arts Marathon. Many have enjoyed the photos and commentary. Thank you all who have created this program for such a worthy cause.
